This is a baby...kestrel, I think. Look how cute! :aww:
There was a falconry show at Drayton Manor Zoo one day (which I missed 'cause I was photographng the owls - go figure!). We went over there just after it finished, and the birds were still out.
The falconry guy was into wildife photography, too - and we had a photography talk. =D
(I've never had a photography talk with anyone, so this was exciting for me. ^^)

This little guy was just a few weeks old, and he wasn't properly trained, so he had to be kept on the end of a bit of string so he didn't fly away during the show.

Sooo. Cute li'l birdy! =)
(Just think how dangerous he'll be when he's all grown up.)
